Bright Futures Scholarship Eligibility
Students who graduate from Aspiring Heights Academy with a High School Diploma are eligible for Bright Futures Scholarships provided they meet the Bright Future Scholarship Program's general requirements, initial eligibility requirements (including grade point average, test scores, and volunteer service or work hours) and postsecondary enrollment requirements. A few specific requirements for the 2025-2026 school year are listed below. Students must submit an FFAA during their last high school year between October 1, 2025 and August 31, 2026.

Mid-Year Graduates
A mid-year graduate is a student who is graduating between September 1 and January 1 of an academic year and is seeking funding for the spring term. Mid-year graduates must apply by December 31 of the student's graduation year in order to receive an award for the current academic year. Service hours completed by graduation and test scores through January 31 are considered in a mid-year graduate's final evaluation. Students who do not end up graduating mid-year will need to submit a new FFAA after the application opens on October 1.
Mid-year graduates must submit the FFAA by December 31 of their fourth year.
Full-Year Graduates
Full-year graduates must apply for the scholarship by submitting the Florida Financial Aid Application (FFAA) beginning October 1 of their fourth year and by no later than August 31 after high school graduation. Service hours completed by graduation and test scores through August 31 are accepted for evaluation purposes.

College Entrance Exam Scores
To ensure that test scores are received for evaluation, you must request that official single-sitting test scores (not superscore) are sent to one of Florida's state universities when registering for the ACT®, CLT®, or SAT®. Students can send single sitting ACT® test scores directly to Bright Futures using CEEB code 0095 on their website. Test scores may also be sent to us. Our school code is 102585. Note the following:
- The ACT®, CLT®, and SAT® may be taken an unlimited number of times through August 31 for full-year graduates and through January 31 for mid-year graduates.
- The ACT® composite score is the average of the best English, Math, Reading, and Science section scores from any test sitting. Composite scores ending in 0.50 are rounded up to the next whole number.
- The CLT® combined score is the sum of the best Verbal Reasoning, Grammar/Writing, and Quantitative Reasoning section scores from any test sitting for an Overall Score.
- The SAT® combined score is the sum of the best Reading and Math section scores from any test sitting.
Student Privacy and Eligibility Evaluations
For our students' privacy, we do not enter transcript data into the Bright Futures Scholarship Program's evaluation system unless the student submits a Florida Financial Aid Application (FFAA) and indicates that they will graduate from our school. You must let us know prior to your student's graduation date if your student is seeking a Bright Futures Scholarship. Eligibility evaluations are completed during the student's 4th (senior) year as follows:

To be eligible for a Florida Bright Futures Scholarship, students must earn a Florida high school diploma, be registered with the district as a home educated student for the current and prior academic year (typically grades 11 and 12), earn a GED, or earn a diploma from a non-Florida school while living with a parent or guardian who is a Florida resident but on military or public service assignment away from Florida.
